The Harbour Island Green School is an independent community based ‘green’ school with a focus on leadership, citizenship and environmental sustainability. The school opened doors on September 2019 and serves students in K through 6. The school follows the national curriculum of The Bahamas with an emphasis on experiential and interdisciplinary teaching and deliver a world-class standard of learning to local Bahamian and international students.
Exceptional Education Outreach (EEO) is a public, non-profit special education and literacy project operating in the Bahamian Family Islands. EEO strives to provide special education and literacy outreach programs to students and their communities in Eleuthera and Harbour Island. We do this through direct service in schools, training programs for teachers and parents, and professional medical assistance to underserved students
A full-service community centre, with art, tutoring summer and after school programmes. We also host seminars lectures and adult programmes in our community centre. oUr youth organisation collaborates with aa network of partners including one Eleuthera, Bahamas Plastic Movement, The Island School and BREEF.
