Daddy D’s Nightclub is the spot for nighttime debauchery and plays host to many popular events including the famous “White Party” over the Fourth of July weekend. Located on the second floor of the decks overlooking the street, there are two main rooms with bars including reserved tables available with bottle service for guests looking for a VIP experience. Owned and operated by famed local Devon “Daddy D” Sawyer, every night is a party. Whether you’re in town for the holidays or just any other weekend, Daddy D’s has great music and drinks. This local bar was recently renovated is the perfect spot to grab a drink and get into lively debates as you watch big games, enjoy board games and watching major sporting events. The unpredictability and spontaneity of casual conversation at WandaLand is one of the most refreshing aspects of visiting Harbour Island.
Opened in November 2019, The Elbow Room is Harbour Island’s newest modern bar located across from Harbour Island’s docks. The black painted bar is accented by a wooden bar and woven lanterns and the bartenders serve up handcrafted cocktails including signature the Elbow Smash and the Rosemary Greyhound.
Lotus 2.0 at JJ's is one of the only true to form hole-in-the-wall bars on the island. Located within one of the islands' oldest party spots, the bar within a bar is the best spot to party like a local and experience true island vibes and an unfiltered 'Briland' experience.
Coral Sands' oceanfront Beach Bar and Restaurant is perched above the island’s Pink Sands Beach. Executive Chef Ken Gomes creates delicious lunch options that go perfectly with the bar’s tropical cocktail offerings. In addition to seafood specialities including conch fritters, lobster rolls, and grouper sandwiches, the restaurant also serves fresh salads and gourmet pizzas.
A visit to Harbour Island would be incomplete without a legendary late night at The Vic Hum’s. Part bar, part Briland Museum, second generation owner “Hitler” Percentile is the heart and soul of this bar. The bar is decorated with color printouts of entertainment and sports figures of mementos from the past and shows just how long he’s been at it. Make sure to ask for a viewing of the world’s largest coconut, play ping pong indoors, or head out the back door to an enclosed, outdoor dance floor and basketball court for a unique mix of pick up games and dancing into the wee hours of the morning.
Beyond the Reef on Bay Street is a favorite spot to kick off a big night on the island. Things kick off nightly around 11 p.m where guests enter through a small entrance that opens of to an oversized covered deck built out over the water. DJ Camren spins hip hop, Top 40, pop, dancehall all night long.

Located opposite Beyond the Reef, Sammy’s is a popular local spot where visitors can witness a never ending game of dominos outside and party on the dance floor inside. Spillover from the neighboring bars fills the packed bar later on in the night, becoming the place to see and be seen.
The Rooster Tail Bar at Valentine’s draws the jet-set crowd of island hoppers at this harbor-side bar and grille. Their menu includes bistro staples, fresh seafood, and signature Bahamian dishes. The Rooster Tail's happy hour runs daily from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and is the perfect place at sunset for sips and snacks.
